CEAPA Scholarship Information
Two $750 scholarships will be awarded for the 2012-2013 academic
year.

Application deadline date is January 20, 2012

Scholarship recipients will
be notified on or before February 3, 2012
|
The Scholarship awards will be presented at the annual CEAPA
Meeting to be held in the Spring 2012. More details will be forthcoming.
Attendance is not required.
Scholarship awards will be sent directly to the recipient’s
college/university to be applied to the Fall 2012 term.
Qualifications and Process for CEA/PA
Scholarships for Non-Traditional Students

Recipient must be a currently
enrolled undergraduate student at a member CEA/PA college/university. |

Recipient must have completed
24 semester hours or equivalent of credit in residence at
said institution. |

Recipient must possess a minimum
quality point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. |

|
Recipient must be a non-traditional
student as defined by the home institution. |

|
Financial need will be used
as a criterion. Need is what remains after other grants and
scholarships have been applied. (Student should have filed
a FAFSA form for 2012-2013 academic year.) |

Essay of 500-1000 words addressing
the topic of the obstacles you have encountered to get to
this point in your education. |

|
One letter of reference related
to the essay topic. This reference may come from a variety
of sources, e.g., teachers, advisors, your children, work
associates/supervisors, clergy, etc |
Complete the CEA/PA
Scholarship Application and submit it along with the essay
and official college transcript(s).
Application, essay and reference letter can be sent via e-mail.
Transcript sent to my attention.
